In September we were blessed to become Aunt and Uncle again twice over!
Welcome little Isla Jane Cross and Daniella Finnemore!
Isla was born on the 2nd of September at Vincent Pallotti
Hospital in Cape Town at 15:15 weighing 3.4 kg. Congratulations Bren and Kirst!
You guys made a human!! And are parents!!! Wishing you much love and happiness and
only good things as you embark on this new adventure.
Well done Kirsten for being such a champion! We were super happy to hear it was
a smooth natural delivery. We hope you are recovered and feeling well now. Kirsten
and Isla spent two nights in hospital before going home and are happily settled
in after a few weeks at home together. Brenainn had a week at home after Isla was born to enjoy being a
new family.
Isla is already a month old today and is growing and doing well. Stop
the clock already! Granny and Grandpa Cross arrive this weekend for their first
visit with their first grandchild. Hope you all have a wonderful time together!

Daniella arrived 3 weeks later on 24 September in London by Caesarean Section.
She was born at 11:52 weighing 3.11 kg. Well done Shell! You were so brave to have another Caesar and we are so happy and relieved that it was a much better experience all
round this time. We wish you a speedy and perfect recovery!
Congratulations Shell and Graham on the safe arrival of your second
child and first daughter! We hope she brings you much joy and lets you sleep at
night soon. Congrats Joshua on becoming a big brother! You are such a gentle loving
little boy and you have a special bond with your little sister already. We look
forward to watching you both grow into wonderful people together.
Shell and Dani spent 2 nights in hospital before going home. They have
been home for almost a week now and Graham and Shell are settling into life
with a newborn and a busy toddler. Ouma Finnemore is visiting in London for yummy
newborn snoodles and to help and support while Shell recovers. Thank you Ouma for taking gifts over from us (and all the family)! You are magic with all the things you fitted into your suitcase!
Isla and Dani are blessed and already ahead in life with the
wonderful parents they have in Bren & Kirst and Shell & Graham. We wish
both new families much love, laughter, joy and only good things ahead. We can’t
wait to meet you both! Our only sadness at this happy and exciting time is that we are not
there for those delicious newborn cuddles. But we will enjoy a good night’s
sleep for you tonight ;)
